It is expected that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will be the third "next-gen" era, which began with the HD-era on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Since EA revealed Madden 25 coins in a more "official" style this evening following the teaser of Patrick Mahomes we thought it could be instructive to examine Madden next-gen trailers across the three HD versions as a way to see the extent to which "real" the Madden 25 footage will end to be.
There is a caveat to remember is that sports games are innately more than they actually do since we don't have any of the cinematic camera angles as we are shown in trailers. We usually play from further away, and usually only notice the small details of cuts, instant replays, in the lead-up to games and other occasions when that we aren't actually in control of the game. Take that into contemplation when we watch these trailers.
The Madden 25 trailer remains infamous and so do the majority of the trailers by EA in the time leading to the release on the Xbox 360. There are several publishers, as you can imagine, had lied about the promise of the next generation when it first was announced. There were numerous trailers that was not recorded in-engine or dubbed using"target footage "target footage" name that it's not as if it's like this Madden video isn't the sole one pulling the chain. However football fans recall this trailer with great fondness due to the fact that Madden 25 for the Xbox 360 was a disaster.
The portions from the movie were correct in in that we got an audio broadcaster, not commentators. The focus was more on the screens that were in the stadiums. The graphics were much better. But it didn't appear like the trailer in the first place. The cheap madden coins players didn't respond and move in the same manner they did in the trailer. The presentation did not resemble the trailer. The trailer created Madden to fall behind its top features in the PS5 timeframe for the duration of the PS5 and Xbox 360 timeframes. The developers had been trying to catch up that launch trailer was stripped to its essential features, while it was a disappointment comparison to the visuals of the original sizzle trailer.
